You are not purchasing the copyright to the image itself.

- ❌ NOT Permitted: You may not reproduce, copy, modify, distribute, or sell any artwork or image from this website, whether purchased or not, for commercial purposes. This includes using images for merchandise, print-on-demand products, stock images, advertising, or any profit-generating activity without express written permission.

Cultural Integrity & Respect
My artwork carries the stories of my Elders, my Country, and four generations of my family. It is interwoven with Aboriginal cultural knowledge and expression. Please treat these artworks with the same respect you would offer if you were standing on my ancestral lands. Unauthorised use or reproduction is not only a legal violation but a disrespect to my culture and my ancestors.
Requesting Permission
If you are interested in using an image for editorial purposes, licensing, or any use beyond personal enjoyment, please contact me at [your email address]. I am open to collaborations and licensing arrangements that honour and respect the work.
Copyright Infringement
Unauthorised copying, reproduction, or distribution of my copyrighted work may result in legal action. I actively monitor for unauthorised use of my images.
Thank you for respecting my art, my stories, and my livelihood.
Connection to the Stolen Generations and Aboriginal culture, there are a few additional considerations:
1. Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property (ICIP)
Beyond standard copyright, Indigenous artists also hold cultural rights over their work. Your copyright page can acknowledge this by including a line such as:
"This artwork contains Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property. It may not be reproduced or used in ways that misrepresent or disrespect the cultural stories and knowledge it contains."
2. Moral Rights
In Australia (and many other countries), you automatically have "moral rights" as an artist, which includes the right to be attributed as the creator and the right to have your work treated respectfully. Your copyright page reinforces this.
3. Watermarking
For any images displayed on your website (especially those not for sale as digital downloads), I will be using low-resolution images with a subtle watermark. To discourages unauthorised copying while still allowing people to appreciate the work.
